On October 13th, Prof. Argyris Politis delivered an engaging talk at the University of Patras, Medical School, Department of Biomedical Sciences focusing on the role of Mass Spectrometry (MS) in advancing structural biology.

The talk highlighted the importance of exploring structural dynamics in physiological environments, emphasizing how lipid-modulated conformational changes in membrane proteins can be probed through Hydrogen–Deuterium Exchange Mass Spectrometry (HDX-MS).
