Dr. Agni Gavriilidou, MASSTRUCT postdoctoral researcher, joined a 3-day advanced training programme at Bruker in Bremen, Germany (17–19 June 2025), aimed at mastering the latest techniques in state-of-the art mass spectrometry.

Led by Bruker Field Applications Specialists, the training combined hands-on sessions and expert guidance on key platforms, including the Impact II, Trapped Ion Mobility Spectrometry (TIMS), and the new NEOS source. It, also covered hardware, software, and application-specific workflows, carefully tailored to participants’ expertise and directly aligned with the research focus of our ERA Chair project.

We are pleased to highlight that Dr. Gavriilidou actively participated in this training, providing her with an exceptional opportunity to deepen her expertisein advanced mass spectrometry within an environment renowned for innovation and hands-on learning, while contributing to the project’s capacity-building objectives.

This training represents a concrete outcome of our dissemination and knowledge-transfer strategy, fostering direct exchange with industrial leaders. By equipping our researchers with cutting-edge analytical skills, it reinforces MASSTRUCT’s broader mission to accelerate innovation and ensure successful implementation of the scientific objectives of the ERA Chair project.

Further training opportunities will be pursued through ongoing collaborations, exchange visits, and joint projects with leading academic and industrial partners.
